The Palace

I recently saw on the web pictures of houses of some of the wealthiest people in America. Amazing. Breathtaking. Jaw-dropping. You-got-to-be-kidding-me kind of houses. It made you instantly imagine what it'd be like to be in one of them, and even what it'd be like to live in one. There's something about palaces that fascinate us and draw us. I think it's because we were created to live in them. We belong in palaces. There's something about a sumptuous home that makes us feel safe, comfortable, relaxed, accepted, pampered and significant. Wisdom is like that. Wisdom builds palaces with seven pillars, puts on a great banquet, serves with the best wines, and invites all to come and attend the party. What more could one ask for? We can have a palace and not have to be a billionaire. Build your wisdom palace. You belong in one. (Reference: Proverbs 9:1-6 Living Bible)
