Am re-reading John Maxwell's "The 21 Indispensable Qualities of a Leader." His breakout book "21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership" is probably more famous, but I enjoy this book on "Qualities of a Leader" better. I think because it appeals to my inside-out philosophy. If you cultivate the qualities, the process will follow more naturally. I like the short, snappy feel of the book. Keeps leadership thoughts fresh in my mind, and stimulated. Got to admit, Dr. Maxwell is good at turning phrase. Couple of his thoughts have made it into my messages of late.
