Friends, 3 millions tents are needed for the displaced earthquake victims in China.

On May 12, an 8.0-magnitude earthquake struck southwest China's Sichuan Province and affected many other parts of the country.

In Sichuan Province, the center of the quake, 5.36 million rooms were flattened and almost 21.43 million others damaged, leaving nearly five million people homeless. Huge quantities of tents are needed to accommodate them.

As of Thursday noon (May 22), 403,340 tents, 2,305,884 cotton-padded quilts and 3,052,000 garments had been delivered to the quake-stricken areas, according to the information office.

We are actively researching sourcing opportunities in Canada or the US to ship to China.  Our staff in Beijing has been in touch with several key relief agencies in China and found out tent supplies and factories in China are completely exhausted and the factories can't keep up.  So we are looking to assist as best we can from the N.America side.
