Doodling Helps Memory

Funny how research sometimes supports your hunch.  I was telling a fellow pastor the other day I wanted to create a "doodle and picture" corner on notes I hand out for my messages as a way to give the listener permission to "drift" while I'm speaking, but also to draw pictures that come to mind while I'm speaking.  The thought was this would enhance their overall retention of the message.  Lo and behold, this study comes out from the UK which supports this very idea!  Read here.
